1. Eligibility & Account Registration

By accessing or registering for an account on Locate and Link, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract;
• You are registering on behalf of a legitimate business, professional practice, or corporate entity, or in your individual capacity as a business professional;
• All registration information you submit is accurate, current, and complete;
• You will maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials and accept full responsibility for all activities occurring under your account.

2. Platform Description & Acceptable Use

Locate and Link provides a platform for B2B discovery, business listings, networking chapters, one-on-one professional meetings, business referrals, and peer reviews.

You agree to use the Platform strictly for lawful professional networking. You shall NOT:

• Post false, deceptive, or fraudulent business representations or ratings;
• Transmit unsolicited mass commercial promotions, spam, chain letters, or multi-level marketing solicitations;
• Harass, stalk, threaten, abuse, or defame any other member or business;
• Impersonate any person, business, or entity, or falsely state your affiliation;
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or attempt to breach platform security, rate limits, or access controls;
• Scrape, index, or harvest member contact details or directory data without our explicit prior written consent.

3. User-Generated Content & Media

You retain ownership of all content, images, logos, reviews, and text you post on Locate and Link (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Locate and Link a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, format, and distribute that content across our services to operate and promote the platform directory.

You warrant that your User Content does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights. We reserve the right to remove or restrict any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

4. Business Verification & Trust Score Disclaimer

Locate and Link offers verification badges to businesses that submit official documentation (e.g. GST, PAN, Udyam certificates). While verification indicates that documentation was submitted and reviewed, Locate and Link does not endorse, guarantee, or warrant the reliability, financial standing, product quality, or commercial performance of any verified business or member. Users are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into commercial contracts or transactions.

5. Safety, Reporting & Account Suspension

We maintain in-app tools allowing members to report policy violations and block abusive users. We investigate reported content and may, at our sole discretion, issue warnings, remove content, restrict messaging privileges, or suspend/terminate accounts found in violation of our Terms or Community Guidelines.

6. Account Deletion & Deactivation

You may initiate account deletion at any time via in-app Settings. Upon initiation, your account is immediately deactivated and placed into a 30-day grace period, followed by permanent hard deletion of your credentials, profile, media, and chat messages in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. LOCATE AND LINK DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LOCATE AND LINK, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR REPUTATIONAL HARM) ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY TRANSACTIONS BETWEEN MEMBERS.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the Laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Rajkot, Gujarat, India.
